They are a solid group. Big athletic, and aggressive defensively. They are not a pushover.
 
Turning out to not be a bad loss. This team is getting better. Fans need to show up and support this team.
 
They may not be a bad team, but losing at home to a team that will finish the season well down in all the computer ratings will absolutely be a bad loss in the committee’s eyes. It will hurt every bit as much as Butler did last year. And the loss is even more frustrating because Sam Houston didn’t even play well against us. We just managed to play worse than they did in the last 10 minutes.

Mid majors have won dozens of games over major conference teams on the road so far this year. Lots of losses will look way worse than same Houston, which will be a Q2 loss.

Absolute best case scenario is that it is Q3. But once they get in their league, their NET will drop and it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that it is Q4. The game was in Norman. Q2 is top 75 and there is zero chance they come close to that.
