I'm growing tiresome of our mediocrity in conference, but I'm not blaming Lon for this one. Guys played hard, but still didn't match the toughness of Texas at times. And at some point, you have to make shots and FTs. I blame Lon for games like KSU, ISU and OSU where we were the better team and basically layed down.

Eh, I do. I hate the offense we run. Lon runs almost nothing where the offense itself gets our guys good shots. They have to create for themselves, or make tough ones. Lon coaches like it's the NBA. I'm not a fan. I'd like to see him actually run some plays. Some sets. I get sick of the generic motion offense and iso game. When you have our talent, that offense is TOUGH to watch.

His point is whether or not the conference is down or not compare to lets say last year, for example. This question is not really answered by comparing the conference to other conferences.

Fran describes it pretty well.... it's an isolation offense. They force switches and then just let the person go one-on-one. I personally don't like it either, but it is what it is.

It’s not on reaves but his basketball iq is non existent. It’s the difference between him being a solid college player and being a pro.

Texas didn’t play great. OU played horrible and deserved to lose. We shot 25 FTs to their 2 and still lost. We wouldn’t have broken 40 points without those 25 FTs. That is pathetic.

This is the all-time best year to be extremely average and have some good wins. I would hardly feel confident if we lost out, but there are countless others teams in worse shape than us, with lesser wins than we have. You have to fill a 68-tram tournament, they have to come from somewhere. Growing up 20 years ago, would this team deserve a bid? Hell no. But in this man's 2020 CBB, we're in a lot better shape than several others on the bubble.

Still lots of moving pieces... when OU was projected in, Texas wasn't. Texas just got a bid. South Carolina just got a bid tonight that wasn't expected. OU needs to take care of business against TCU.

Yeah, I hope he doesn’t take it too hard. The missed FTs hurt but the rest of the team played so terrible for the entire game. He didn’t lose the game. This was a total team effort.


I’m so tired of OU playing bad basketball. Enough is enough. Make a change already.

This game is on Reaves and Bienemy. Not Doolittle.

Bienemy didn't score. Air balled at least 2 of his 3 shots, might have air balled all of them. The only time he scores is when nobody is within 25 feet of him. 2 rebounds, 1-2 assists. Basically did nothing out there.

Reaves had a bad second half and the critical technical that put OU in a bad position.

I'm sure it happened since, but I remember BYU hitting one to beat us in Maui when Billy still coached. Maybe 76-75 (score)? I'm reaching on that.
