Shawn Long visiting this weekend?

This is from back in March from the same guy. Kinda doubt what Shawn's brother is saying.

Doubt if you will. I don't have any reason to lie. I do want to correct the Texas situation. I was in talks with them, but never heard for myself that they offered. I was basing that off of second hand info which I do apologize for. Shawn will prove his worth in a short while. He was recruited by some GREAT schools and I have high respect for Coach Kruger and Coach Crutchfield as men b4 all else. The main reason Shawn was overlooked is because of the lack of exposure and that is why I took it upon myself to create the youtube videos. Here's one that I think alot of people haven't even seen yet.

The "star" player on my HS squad got a 9. All things considered, I would say a 20 is respectable.

Wow, just wow. Pretty sure I've heard you can get around an 11-12 by just bubbling in the same answer for every question... Apparently this "star" player was thinking too hard!

Thanks for the longer video. I will say this about Shawn - he's a big dude with a sweet stroke. Sure, don't know that he's gonna lead the break, but he seems to have handles enough to work well around the basket. Imagine if he grows just a little more... A big guy like that who can stretch the defense out really opens things up in an offensive set just because, if he isn't banging down low, you have to respect him enough to move a big out from under the basket.

if you are not from the state of oklahoma and you are just a regular student applying to OU as a freshman you need a 26 as a minimum and either a 3.0 or be in the top 50% of your high school class.

That's for automatic admission though. You can (and probably will) still get into OU if you don't meet those requirements.

ACT scores don't mean much, especially today when kids in HS are taking classes on taking the test. I graduated HS 20 years ago and in my World Literature class (Advanced English), we studied the questions on the ACT. My score in English went from an 18 the first time to a 24 just because of this.

One of my best friends who I've known since we were in elementary school got a 15 on the ACT and had to attend SWOSU for a year then UCO for a year then on to OU. He ended up graduating from OU with a 3.68 GPA in political science. His first semester at SWOSU he got a 2.7 or so, and then starting with the 2nd semester of his freshman year until he graduated from OU he only had 1 B, the remainder were all A's.

I also have friends who got higher than a 25 on the ACT and flunked out of college. The scores don't mean much, but I agree with the poster that if he got a 20 as a basketball player if he has any drive to study and attend class, he should be able to graduate college with ease.
