Shot selection has went to crap!

This is a discussions board, right?
OU won tourney without their A game. There were some A game streaks.
Last game OU got one point and two rebounds from the bench.
Jordan except for Hawaii game is shooting lights out.
Cousins has been struggling shooting the last three or four games.
I wish spangler would look to be more offensive. The guy can score.

It's fun to have OU back in the basketball mix.

Lattin's career high is signs. His prior 9 games have not been. As far as penetrating and kicking the ball out to three point launchers as signs of an inside game???? No sir.

There was a play early on against Harvard where Lattin took the ball strong to the hoop and had an emphatic dunk. My response was "hell yeah," and wished he would add that play to his routine more often. He also needs to shoot within 10 feet or so of the basket and leave the perimeter shots to others.

You know you have a good team when you can win, all the while playing through physical and mental fatigue. I think the guys need a rest to get some fresh legs.

How about Hield attacking the basket on the dribble? Want to call that an inside game? My guess is no because it doesn't fit your agenda.

Can the team score inside? Yes. Can the team get in the lane and use that to create offense away from the basket, which only works because the he defense collapses to defend against scoring in the paint? Yes. Do either of those conform with what you want our "inside game" to look like? No. The problem then isn't with the team; it's with your expectations.

We had 1 and a half games of pretty basketball at the tourney and the rest has made me wonder why I am watching. It has been ugly to say the least. Jeesh.:facepalm

Took you 18 minutes to reply to your OP to add that? :ez-roll:

A few games back folks were claiming a neck and neck race with manyang and Lattin. However, even tho Manyang has looked nice, Lattin has blossomed.

If my "agenda" is throwing it to the post players and getting them involved instead of shooting alot of jumpers......you got me.
