The best chant I've ever heard at the LNC during a Jayhawk game, well...actually, their are 2:

1.) Turgeon is a virgin <clap> <clap> <clap><clap><clap>(doesn't apply this Saturday) (1984 or 1985)

2.) OVER-RATED (Jacque Vaughn is) OVER-RATED (jacque vaughn is) ; this was during 1996 OU-KU game in the LNC after Vaughn had just been named conference POY even though Minor had a better season. Instead of the claps, the fans in our section and around us chanted "Jacque Vaughn is" between the "OVER-RATED" chant.

Neither one really applies but they were great at the time.

Yes. Top 5 teams draw attention regardless of their opponent.. Our football games with Iowa St. are always inexplicably on television aren't they?

It's going to be televised nationally by ESPN. I just heard an interview this morning with Fraschilla and he's doing the game.

I will also add, now when the local station interviews Fraschilla or Mike Decourcey from TSN, they never talk about Oklahoma. Used to, they always discussed who we were playing and how whether we would win and what that would mean to our Big 12 placement and NCAA seeding.

Today, the only thing Fraschilla said about the game, and this is a sportstation in the biggest KU market (KC) that he would have a chance to watch the Mizzou-KSU game from his hotel before the OU-KU game. That was the only mention of the game. They didn't even talk about it from a KU perspective.
