As for the defense/offense debate, I would like to see a nice mix on both ends of the floor.

Give me a blend of Billy Ball and Kelvin Sampson defense and I'll be happy!

I agree. We don't need another one trick pony. Any team can play GREAT defense if they only have to guard 3 guys. The next coach needs to be able to attract TRUE pgs to Norman that are not MIDGETS.

Tubbs was actually a very good defensive coach. But when you push the ball like they did your going to give up points on the other end as well.
I remember in 1988 in the NCAA tournament the commentators were discussing that very topic and they stated that other coaches had told them how good defensively OU was and that tubbs didn't get near enough credi for being a very good defensive coach.

I guess they had zero clue also...

I remember in 1988 - 2011 how Billy said what I am saying and I just took notes and repeated it. But he wouldn't know...right? Let's rely on what some dumbass third parties said instead of Billy himself.

I also remember 1988 - 2011 how Billy's old players said what I said and I jotted down their statements as notes. I am sure we shouldn't pay any attention to what they say though. Let's rely on some idiot broadcasters instead.
