A lot of people seem to think all three of these guys may be leaning to Washington. Ross even mentioned in a recent interview he'd like to play with Jones in college.

Was just doing some searching today and found this article out of Washington and it doesn't sound like they would be able to take all three. In fact, Lorenzo Romar sounds like they can only take one more.

Despite the number of returning players on next year’s squad, Romar is still crossing his fingers that the one-man incoming recruiting class of Desmond Simmons will expand to two.

“We definitely would like to bring in one (more), that’s for sure,” Romar said. “We just have to wait until things shake out.”

I hate to say it, but I actually believe both jones and ross go to kentucky, and ndiaye goes to washington

If we dont get ndiaye I am not sure how we can recover from that...I feel that we have pretty much put all of our eggs in his basket

Im sure Capel has many more options.. You cant actually think he is only recruiting one big guy in N'Diaye?

No I do not think that...But I think he is prob the only guy that has the potential to come in and make us a really good defensive team by mid year....someone that is a shot blocking presence is the only way I see us being really good next year....if we get ndiaye I fully expect a top 4 finish

From a recent rivals update, a quote from Terrence.
"I pretty much just want to win," he said. "Wherever I feel like I can do that the most, with whoever the players are around me."

Exactly! Hale's interview with Nick Thompson on OUI proves that.

Yep. Capel is definitely in a lot of guys we don't know about yet. New names seem to be popping up every week. Still surprised we haven't been linked to C.J. Washington yet.

Interesting....

I just want N'Diaye. Hopefully, Jones or Ross will go ahead and commit and Aziz will be ours.

I am really thinking that Ross will probably not qualify this year.

Ross, Aziz, N'Diaye, and Jones are all A-list guys for me. Seems like Thompson is a back up plan.

AFLAC.

Nick Thompson is not a Center option...

He's a post option, lucky. How many centers can you name in any recruiting class, not just OU? For that matter, name the last true center OU brought in? Centers are a rare commodity. Longar was one of those finds that don't come along every year.

Would I like to see N'Diaye come to OU? Of course. But all is not lost if we fail to sign him.

OU proabably has 5 more schollie to play with. They can sign a guy like Thompson and it has no bearing on Jones, whereas a guy like Kanter may have bearing with Jones. Also, Selby and Knight at UK will make it tough to sell a guard position to Jones.

Good points, DM. I hope Jones will see things your way.

Maybe that is what has me worried. Because I do not believe we have 5 more scholorships to give out...that means we would be giving a total of 8 scholorships this year

1) open scholly this year
2) Wright
3) Crocker
4) TMG
5) WW
6) Gallon
7) Willis

That leaves 4 schollies left....and I really believe gallon will be back, so now that leaves 3 schollies...if WW comes back thats only 2 schollies

Its not like we have a ton of scholorships to play with...I know if it possible we might..but we have the same possibility of only have 2 left...

If we really only have two schollies left, and we sign nick thompson with 1 of them....that means we still have no pg or center...we will still have the same holes

We don't have the possibility of only 2 left.

As of THIS SECOND, including commits, we have:

1. Orlando Allen
2. Cade Davis
3. Willie Warren
4. Steven Pledger
5. Andrew Fitzgerald
6. Tiny Gallon
7. Kyle Hardrick
8. TJ Taylor
9. Cam Clark
10. Tyler Neal

That leaves us with a minimum of three scholarships available. And we still don't know what might happen with Allen, Warren, and Gallon.

Wouldn't be shocking to see Kyle transfer for PT if he chooses to.

Your right, I forgot Gerber....Well that makes me feel alot better...so if everyone that is suppose to return returns...then we have 2 slots still available for serious post players, and one for a point guard

Then we should have warren going pro next year, gallon probably, allen will be gone, along with cade

so that would still leave us 4 schollies with a minimum of 2 for next year

Then the year after you would have all these juco guys we are signing gone...so this could play out perfectly!!
