That was the worst passing we have done in I dont remember when.
Treese is a better athlete than I thought. She'll get much better with time on the court.
Little is in a protracted slump but is too good for it to last much longer. I'd love to have her come out of it against Baylor.
We played good defense consistently tonight.
Maddie is occasionally miraculous and is huge for us in so many ways. Made a dumb pass tonight, though.
I dread when T'Ona takes the court. She's busy on defense but I question how good she is. I would not play her. We have enough talented players to make her unnecessary. On the whole, she is a liability.
We had one sinking spell but came out of it quicker than we have earlier this year.
Need to work on rebounding.
Need to work on half court offense when KayKay is covered.
Gioya got right to work. Great to have her back.

I don't know what to say about the passing. It did appear that we weren't paying attention to detail at times.
We actually did win the rebounding battle, 46-30. But, they had no size.
The thing that concerned me about Peyton tonight is that she wasn't doing all of the little things that she usually does to make herself valuable, even when she isn't hitting. She wasn't even close on her threes. But, she wasn't getting the rebounds, steals, tipped balls, and assists that she usually gets. I suspect she will realize that quickly.
Gabbi and T'Ona both were making some bad plays, especially passes.
Kay Kay did have two assists, a rarity.
Derica made herself useful without negatives.
It wasn't our best game. Was it difficult to concentrate on Kansas, especially after jumping out to a fifteen point lead?

No love for Maddie's behind the back assist to Vi-Vi? Best pass I've seen in a long, long time.

I liked the team's energy on defense. Love seeing 10 players with 10+ minutes.

agree on all points.

There are several games this season that Maddie has dominated without scoring the basketball. Got us out to the early lead with the trap. Had 7 or 8 boards, and continuously feeds KK which opens up the outside game. Maddie is a true point forward but, she is too talented to be a role player. I think she will need one more off season to dominate as a scorer, but she can truly do it all. Will have spurts this season, next yr becomes top 3 players in the conference and not necessarily the 3rd ether.

Gioya still has that step, thats good to see. Also makes us way stronger defensively, I think Derica found some comfort this first half of the season and will be a weapon off the bench once Gioya is 100%. Worried though that teams will have Gioya figured out, lefty cross going to the middle and pull up going the other side. She's explosive so it'll work here and there, but they know its coming. Needs to become more dynamic, and cut down on bad decisions that she's been known for- but could be a HUGE addition by the end of the season.

Peyton, started seeing the ball go in again late, could be big for next game.

She's tried that a couple of times. This time, they caught it. Went right through Vivi's (?) hands once, in surprise.

I thought we let a weak Kansas team stay in it too long.

KayKay was great. Kansas needed to help more on defense with her. Maybe Wyatt's early three point shooting discouraged them from doubling on KayKay. ViVi a rough first half but finished well.

Little seems to have trouble getting open shots in a lot of games. She is going to see a lot of that as teams are concentrating on her. Then when she finally gets open she is missing the shot. Not sure what the answer is. Maybe we need to run her off more screens and maybe she has to look more for the pull up mid range jumper. She hits those well.

Am impressed with the improved play by Wyatt. Not only is she shooting with more confidence but she is defending and rebounding better as well and just more efficient all around. Looks quicker.

Was great to see Carter out there. She looked quick in spite of clearly not being in good condition yet. Hopefully she will be ready by post season time and will be more consistent this year.

LaNesha Williams best game of the year, but against Kansas. Edwards a bad game all around. She is going to have to better understand what she can and can't do or she is going to hurt us sometime critical. Painful that our two point guards had 3 assists and 6 turnovers between them. Ortiz hits the post pretty well but she is going to have to do more to get our outside shooters free for shots.

As usual to many bad decisions on passes that should have not been made. I agree the rebounding looked pretty good.

Last but not least I liked what Treece did. I don't see that many problems with her defense. And she blocked three shots in 11 minutes. Would like to see her get more into the flow of the offense. Supposedly she is lights out from behind the arc and she has some good mid range shots as well.
