#Big12VB: @OU_Volleyball sweeps No. 2 @TexasVolleyball in Austin. It's the Horns' first loss of the season & snaps 34-match home win streak.

According to my on screen guide, this game will be shown on:

Longhorn network at 8:00 tonight plus various other times on LHN.
FCSC (?) at 8:00 AM tomorrow.

Waaaaaaahooooooo!!!!!:woot:woot:clap:clap That's what I'm talking about. Love it when we beat Texas.

This has to be one of the bigger wins in OU history. It certainly gets this program headed more firmly forward.

Priceless! We were the last Big 12 team to beat the whorns in Austin (53 matches) back in 2008 and broke their 34 game win streak at home. Nell Fortner and Paul Sunderland (announcers) were stunned! In fact, Sunderland spouted off during the early part of 1st game that this would be a 3-0 win by the whorns. It was 3-0, but whorns didn't win! Kierra Holst and Taylor Migliazzo were outstanding as well as strong performances by a lot of other players. We have a pretty young team overall and hopefully this win can boost the program even higher. Especially, since so many people watched on the longwhorn network! Great job, Sooners!

The interesting thing is that this win comes after a very ugly loss at K-State. We were just terrible there.

We do have a pretty good future and this win is just an indicator. We have only one senior who plays sparingly and we finally have some big hitters which are a must if you are going to compete at the elite level.

Agreed. The NCAA women's volleyball championship is in OKC at Chesapeake Arena this year. Wish it were next year as we'd have a better chance to make that. If we played like we did last night we'd have a chance this year but we're very inconsistent so, as much as I'd like them to make it, I just don't see it this year.
