William Jennings's interview with Guerrero along with a breakdown of some of the other top PGs still left on the board

Thank you guys so much for these updates. We don't get them anywhere else. This guy is intriguing...

Widgett Washington 6’0 pg, Northeastern Junior College, Sterling Co.: Washington is the leading scorer in the junior college ranks and fourth in assists. With most junior college players evaluating recruiting options at the end of the season, Washington looks to be one of the hotter prospects around. Washington is also good friends with OU signee Robert Goff.

Here's a photo and some more stuff I found on him.....

Widgett Washington, Northeastern's 5'11" guard, led his team to a 3-1 record this past week with stellar games. The Kansas City, Kansas native averaged 30.8 points on 48% shooting, 5.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 3.8 steals per game over the four-game span. In a 109-101 victory against Central Wyoming, Washington put up 55 points, six rebounds, four assists, and seven steals! The 55 point total broke the NJC school record of points in a single game, which was previously 48 points.

Thanks Greg. I really hope Capel can get Guerrero to sign. And that's based on nothing more than knowing Capel obviously wants him. If he can't convince the kid to come to OU, then maybe he'll get one of the other PGs mentioned.

WJ is the man!!! It's nice to have access to well-written reports from someone who is clearly a student of the game.

You mean James Hale doesn't qualify? (I'm blind...can't find that sarcasm icon)

Thank you Mr. Jennings...much appreciated!

After watching that video I take two things from it. He's an exteremly confident individual, I hope it is more confidence then cockiness though. He reminds me of a soccer player in some of his moves and the way he sees the court (1:15 for example). I remember hearing a Steve Nash interview a while back talking about his soccer experience made him a better PG.

Cezar put up 40 tonight based on twitter, seems to be playing really well.

Good work, William Jennings. You're one of the reasons why this site is the best source for OU basketball discussion.

Curious to see how his game transfers to the D-I level. He is probably the best available player at the position, gotta go after him.

"I like to shake things up." :ez-laugh:

He's definitely a little cocky, but I like it.

Yeah, me too. Confidence to the point of being a little bit cocky is a must to be a good leader. Guerrero is not the type coaches will have to push to accept a leadership role. I like that quality in a point guard.
