I logged in this morning and just sat there in disbelief that we have hired a coach the quality of Lon Kruger.

The more I look into Lon Kruger's history, the more I like this hire. There is nothing wrong with being a "solid" coach with a reputation for integrity.

Given the state of the OU program, he is looking at a serious challenge. The challenge is there no matter who Joe hired. Lon Kruger has faced similar challenges and has been "solid" in meeting those during his long career.

I join all Sooner fans in wishing Lon Kruger the greatest success of his career, at the University of Oklahoma.
