Doesnt it seem like his shot has been off since he had that leg injury?

He was actually starting to shoot more of a jumper and was getting good results ... now he has no lift at all and he's usually short and flat.

Maybe it's just me. I think he's still nursing the injury.

It's not just his lift in shooting the ball. I think it's having an effect on his ability to get rebounds and go after loose balls. Seems to me he's not as quick off of his feet as he was before, which may explain why the relentless rebounder we have grown accustomed to is not his usual self right now.

Wouldn't surprise me. A bone bruise sucks anyway, but when it's on your knee cap, it's got to be awful. I would hope we can get him some rest if we pull ahead in some games. Try to keep his minutes as low as possible for a few weeks.

If he has a bone bruise...that will suck. Son had one on his throwing arm...threw 3 innings in fall ball at juco. Didn't throw at all from July to October. It's basically as close to a hairline fracture as u can get. Nothing but rest.

He is a tough dude. Hopefully he heals and doesn't re-injure it

Now is the perfect time to sit him for a while. A home game against Tech that we should be able to win handily without him, and a more or less irrelevant non-con game that we probably should have used as a bye anyway, followed by TCU at home which again we should be able to win without him.

That can get him a two week rest in the middle of the season, because it's clear that there's something not right with him. He just hasn't been very effective since the leg injury.
