Who does everyone want to win and who do you think will win?

I want the Spurs but I think the Heat are going to win.

Want the Spurs, and as long as Parker is healthy, I think they win it this year. Miami has had some problems. They aren't quite the team they've been in recent years. Should be a good series either way.

Spurs in 6 - who I think will win and who I want to win.

Hope the Heat win, but the great thing is that the 2 best teams are in the finals.

Heat are 12-3 in the playoffs, Wade is fresh & Bosh is a good matchup for Duncan. The Spurs bench is better but that's really their only edge.

The Mavericks as an 8 seed gave the Spurs their toughest test. Heat will win in 5 or 6 games.

Their only edge is a stretch. Bosh is good but I would him and Tim about even. Spurs have a huge edge at point as long as Parker isn't hurt, and Spurs bench is much better, especially when you consider how much better their 6th man is than anyone the Heat can bring off.

Of course this can all be negated when you have the best player on the planet on your roster.

I think the Spurs are the best team in the league but Lebron is the best player on planet earth and they have some excellent role players, so...I wouldn't bet any money either way.

That said, I'm pulling for the Heat.

I don't know specifically why, but I just can't pull for the Spurs.

And no, it's not because of the Thunder. Hell, I'm a Celtics fan.

It's probably more about my dislike of Popovich.
Or even Skip Bayless.

As a Mavs fan, I'll begrudgingly pull for the damn Heat.

Just glad to get a break from the Thunder chatter.........

Not sure about this series. Miami plays much better defense than anyone the Spurs have faced. I guess if I had to predict, it would be Miami in a close series.

That is how I see it. I actually give SA an edge just about everywhere except in the Lebron individual matchup, and probably on defense (though that is pretty close). I expect a series a lot like the series last year.

I can't decide who I want to win. I think SA wins it.

I can't stand the heat. I can't stand the spurs

My thoughts exactly. I can't wrap my head around pulling for the Heat to win one game, ever, much less another NBA championship. I'm no fan of the Spurs either, but I like them better than LeBron and company.

If I had to pick a winner, I would go with the Spurs. When Parker is healthy, their starting lineup is solid from top to bottom. Mainly, though, SA has the best second unit in the NBA. I see that as the difference in a seven games series.

I think SA is a better team. They should have won last year except for a couple of miracle shots. Wade is healthier this year and Parker isn't .... That could be the difference. I still think the Spurs will win it.

The Heat can lock in on defense dramatically better than any western team. They shoot a higher % on offense than any team. Will be surprised if they don't get a split in SA and coast to the series win. A sweep wouldn't surprise me.

What has changed since last year?

Not much. D-Wade is shooting a career high from the field. Lebron is even more efficient shooting a sick 62% on 2 pt FGs. They figured out everything Pop threw at them last year. They have been there, done that and should have an easier time the second go around.

Spurs are playing a lot better than they were last year during the finals. Ginobili wasn't shooting well and was a turnover waiting to happen. Manu is playing like he did in his prime and Duncan will score on anyone the Heat put on him. If Ibaka can't stop Duncan, then no one on the Heat can. While the Heat defense is one of the best, they haven't faced anything like the Spurs offense.

Game one wasn't easy for the Heat. If the Heat split your prediction could still come true but I don't see it that way. I see a competitive series.
