Doolittle has the body to play early and probably the skills. His motor will probably be the determinant. At times in high school he wasn't very assertive.

Has Buford stopped hanging with football players? I guess what I'm asking is has he gotten more serious?

That question was more appropriate a year ago when he wasn't allowed to practice with the team. This is the 2nd summer since he was rumored to be hanging out with the "wrong" football crowd.

I know he worked the basketball camps over the past 3 weeks.

I think OU fans are going to be pleasantly surprised by Buford and James. I think both guys are ready to step into starting roles and contribute at a Big XII level. I also think both guys have a chance to be All Big XII type players by the time they are seniors.
