Stevie Clark arrested...

And some of you are clamoring for his brother. No "official" troubles for little bro, but I don't want any piece of that family. So glad LK finally saw the light in regards to Stevie.

Sometimes, little brother learns from big brother's mistakes.

If i am travis Ford i will kick this kid off the team he has been suspended once before and he needs to learn a lesson

How would that help the kid? Isn't that the easy solution. Why not give him some tough love like extra conditioning, a very short leash and no playing time for the rest of the year to send a very clear message?

Kid is a punk. I'm an OU fan but if I was an OSU fan I would want Ford to kick him down the road. He is going to always be getting into trouble - and this right after Ford gave them his be good speech lol. Let him go back to the "hood" and survive. By the way, Edmond is one of the nicest cleanest upscale cities in the country. No HOOD there - what an idiot statement by this punk.

+1, kicking him to the curb right now won't do him any good. Ford loses very little by making him practice, go to class and sit out. It might hurt the team some but with Clark's frame of mind right now I would question how much good he will do for them as he is. IF he straightens out then it would benefit both. What I would not have given for just a fraction of that athletic ability:facepalm

so much talent wasted by so much stupid. JR Raymond anyone?

Can I ask why you feel bad for him?

I'd like to think of myself as a compassionate person who feels bad for anyone who makes a mistake, especially someone as young as Stevie. Stupid move or not, he's still a teenager barely out of high school who seems to be putting his desire to smoke weed ahead of everything else right now.

I was young once myself (yes, I know that's hard to believe), but I'm not too old to forget the temptations I experienced in my late teens and early twenties. I could have (and probably should have) landed in jail, or worse, for some of the stunts I pulled.

Do I believe that Stevie deserves to be let off of the hook if his determination to destroy his college career continues? Absolutely not. Travis Ford will do him a great disservice with another slap on the hand for his second offense. If I was in Ford's shoes, I would make this one hurt...a lot! And, if he didn't learn from it, there would not be a third chance.

"Hood" can simply mean locale or place where one lives. It's just the vernacular. Doesn't mean bad neighborhood or ghetto.

At least JR waited until what, his junior year I think, to get kicked off?

As for giving Stevie a chance, he had a chance, and not a few weeks later is already in trouble again. He needs some tough love. I don't expect Ford to do it, but Clark should get booted. With the issues a few weeks ago, his comments on Twitter, and the SI article about OSU athletics in general, it's time they send a message.

But like I said, I doubt he does. I doubt he even misses the rest of the year, unless there are some additional charges coming.

Not to mention none of us know what Stevie is telling Ford.

I suppose, if Ford REALLY believes Stevie is realizing the bad he is doing to himself, and Ford really thinks he wants to change, keeping him around might be an option. But I can tell you from the Twitter comments that Stevie isn't at that point. Give him the boot. Not everybody can be saved from themselves.

Ford is going to throw the book at him and suspend him to the weed circle

It most certainly means an undesirable place. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=hood

We are educated people. We don't refer to our neighborhoods as the "hood" any more than we refer to women as *****es or hoes. I went to high school in Edmond. Granted it was a long time ago but it certainly wasn't the "hood".
