GAME 13 Prairie View A&M(1-11) vs Oklahoma(12-0 #11/12) 1 PM ESPN/SEC+

Yup. Forgive me for wanting a team to show up more than once every few games.

Well, they are 13-0 for the first time in over 30 years so I'll take that. Let's not act like even the best teams look uninspired at times.
This team is gritty and finds a way to win even when they aren't playing well, which is a good quality to have.

This PVAM team was only down 5 vs Houston at the half. So does Kelvin suck?

I do agree I'd like to see them put teams away earlier though.

If Jones or Nwankwo don't come back soon, who else do you play on the wing? He still had 9 points, he's just in a slump from 3. I still want him shooting it EVERY time he's open from 3. A guy that has shot over 45% from 3 the last couple of years just doesn't forgot how to shoot it in 3-4 games. Several today were in and out. I see him still getting 10-15 mins a game..sometimes more if he has a hot hand.

You got a shooter you let him play through it. He'll get back on soon.

It's disappointing to not come out and put some distance between them. PV has lost to DePaul by 33, SMU by 41, Texas A*M-CC by 35, UAB by 29 and UCLA by 36. And they are playing without their best player.
They also lost to MSU--currently #19 in the country--by just seven points in Starkville after leading them by 15.

Our defense wasn't stellar today, but PV was also red-hot, hitting plenty of shots when they were well-defended. It happens.

They went 4-16 from three. They scored off a ton of wide open layups. They also didn’t have their best player today.

I might wait to vent on how crappy our team looks and how Moser should be fired until we ACTUALLY lose a game. But hey, that’s just me. 😂 It’s not like bitching before a loss does any good. Course, bitching after a loss doesn’t either.

i think Dayton might bring more to the team then he does .... better athlete better passer .. same potential as a shooter ..

They haven’t played Houston. And Houston has absolutely destroyed all the bad teams on their schedule. But why are you even asking the question? Has anyone so much as mentioned Moser in this thread, let alone said he sucks?

I agree with this. I would hope Forsythe is playing more than Goodine by February. That would mean he’s developing nicely.

Forsythe probably isn't ready on defense yet at the SEC level. Hopefully Goodine gets over his slump. He did shoot good to start the year. If he keeps shooting like this we could see Nwankwo or Forsythe take some of his minutes.

Taylor is still pretty consistent off the bench.

My bad...I thought the announcers said Houston during the game. Retract. I looked at an old game when I heard that. I didn't look at the date. My fault..

But they were tied with MS St (#19) at the half.

That's good...gives Coach Moser something important to work on for the next 5-6 days. There isn't much to work on if we blow them out by 40. I actually like when a bad team pushes us. OU came ready to play against Michigan, Georgia Tech (albeit slow start) and Oklahoma State this month - our three biggest games. While I'm not big on playing down to the competition, either, we all know it happens. We just need to focus on getting better every game because the competition becomes fierce from this point on.

Saw you guys ragging on Goodine earlier. I haven't watched yet and not trying to disagree... But his stat line wasn't bad. Seven rebounds , two steals, and top plus minus by far... Just sayin. Let's keep him around a little longer maybe.
