We posted yesterday that we heard Clark would be visiting Missouri today for their game against Baylor.

And it's now been confirmed that he indeed did make that trip and was sitting behind their bench at the game.

Virtually zero chance he ends up at Mizzou. We already have a point committed for 2013 and almost certainly won't be taking two (if we do, I imagine #2 would be a combo type guy with more size).

Then why was he at the game today?

Good question. It was an unofficial visit, so he paid his own way. I'm guessing he wanted to see a game between two top 10 teams. Even if MU has little interest, it doesn't hurt to host high level recruits.

Our committed 2013 point guard was also in attendance (along with about four other recruits).

stevie's mom tweeted that he enjoyed the loud and sold out crowd. We are doomed.

Depending on how things go with Devonta Pollard and Shawn Smith we could have as many as four or five scholarships to give. If we don't get Pollard and Smith can't make it we would have enough room to take another PG in 2013. Also it never hurts to keep up communication. I don't see Jorgenson changing his mind but it is still a long ways away from signing day.

A highly regarded class of 2014 PG was also in attendance. I think he's the bigger target. I bet the staff would love to add him in addition to Jorgenson in 2013.
