Tennessee

Not OU related, but do any of you think Tennessee will be looking for a new coach soon? Obviously, Tennessee is a name that always comes to mind when you think of women's basketball. They have very good facilities and own a lot of tradition. I suspect people surrounding that program are not happy with the situation right now. Who do you think would leave their school for Tennessee if that job does open?

I think Holly might have saved her job with Elite 8 appearance. They looked much better in tourney than they did in regular season. If they did make a change, I think Nikki Caldwell Fargas might be the only Summit protege that would have a chance, even though I don't think she would get it. I wouldn't be surprised to see them go after Sulkey Mulkey either. Since Mulkey's kids are all out of the house, she MIGHT agree to one last move. I'm not sure who else they might go after. I don't think they would hire a male.

I guess I could also see Tennessee having Kim Mulkey in mind if they decided to make a change. I could see her leaving Baylor if that happened.

Kim has Cox coming in and Baylor should be a favorite for a final four run, I can't see her leaving Baylor with the talent she has...

True. She does have tons of talent coming in. I really wish we could have signed Cox. That would have helped tremendously.

She would have tons of talent in Knoxville and also would probably be easier to recruit to with their name and history. I think that would probably be the only job she'd leave Wacko for. Or unless it was WNBA, so she could coach against Pokey again! :ez-roll:
