Why did the Texas A&M player foul the SC player after they tied the game up w/ 2 seconds to go? I had the sound down because I was on the phone. that play made no sense.

The announcers didn't mention it until they were wrapping up the game. Not exactly what you expect from one of his teams. Sc did everything they could to give it away.

Am I the only one glad we don't have to play A$M twice each year?

My question is how did that girl from A$M get out of Oklahoma?

The only thing I could think of was that the A&M player thought they were 1 point behind instead of tied.

Which brings me back to my surprise that that would happen to one of his teams. And also that the announcers didn't jump all over it - although they seemed to be asleep for part of the game.

The "foul," if indeed there was a foul, was while the shot that tied the game was in the air. Two players were positioning themselves under the board, and they called a foul while the ball was still in the air. The foul seemed a bit contrived. Maybe that isn't the word. It seemed that it was too feeble of a foul to call at that point.

The "foul" I saw was a girl getting tackled at the FT line. A foul during the shot would have nullified the shot.

The foul that they called was right under the basket, just after the ball was released, and was right behind the shooter. At least, that's what they showed twice.

A&M’s Shlonte Allen, just inserted into the game, had unthinkingly fouled Sessions on the inbound pass after the layup. There was no way anyone could get all the way downcourt in that time; the only chance the Gamecocks would have had to win in regulation was to hit an 80-foot heave.

But there was the whistle, and Sessions was headed back to the line.

“I don’t think all of our teammates knew the situation, that we had tied the game,” Jordan Jones said. “They went for the first instinct, which was to foul.”

OK. That's not what I thought they had called.

Well as I said the announcers didn't even act like it happened. This was sort of a Chris Webber moment. The shot was pretty clean. The girl beat everyone downcourt.

The only thing that I saw were two girls under the basket pushing, not all that hard, for position for a rebound. It had nothing to do with an inbound pass. An official was pointing at the two girls, one of whom was now on the floor, as was the scorer. At first, I thought he called a foul on the shot, meaning a free throw. But, I didn't see a foul on the shooter.

Allen literally tackled Sessions around the FT line taking both players to the floor. Afterwards Allen said she didn't know game was tied and thought they were still down. IMO that falls on the coach to make sure every player knows situation before stepping onto court. This is what we are gonna do if we score on the long inbounds pass. Blair blew it.

That's what I said to begin with. Of all the coaches he's about the last one to have his team with a brain fart.

We? We? What does that mean?

Blair blew it if he didn't mention it. If he mentioned it and the player didn't remember, it's on her.
