Texas / Baylor Game

Texas leads Baylor by 11 at the half. Nylissa Smith suffered a knee injury late in the 1st half while drawing her 3rd foul. She's going to try to play in the 2nd half.

Congratulations to Texas on the win. That freshman point guard is really, really good.....and we will see her 3 more years!!! And I don't think she had any turnovers!!

Fortunately for the Sooners Harmon is not really a scorer or shooter. Fort the Big 12 conference season she shot only 35% from the field and 26% BTA and averaged only 9.9 p/g. Go to individual then conference to see her conference stats only.

Fortunately, Nylissa Smith's injury didn't prove to be too serious and she played in the 2nd half. Texas just seemed to be the more focused, determined team in this game.

I know Baylor is really good but I wasn't surprised that Texas beat them. Teams who have bigs can compete with them, plus teams who can play defense. I think our defense will be better next season but know the coach and staff could not work on everything this season. With that said I did see a game (not that there were not others, but didn't see many) where I thought we played good defense against a tough team.

I really believe we will have at least one new good tall player, if not two, next year.

Agree but Tecas has been playing better since those losses, plus their defense can be very good. Before the game. Baylor was probably favored most, I just felt they could upset them. At the same time, I knew I could be very wrong
