I just noticed Trump is in the Texas stands. No wait. That is just one of those cardboard cutouts. :) :) :)

Like that Little showed some emotion at the ref on her drive. A lot more intensity and desire on the part of all the girl's now. Team I s playing much stronger.

Is there any way to teach players to not get completely under the basket before shooting and banging the bottom of the hoop?

That is a facetious question.
 
If our players could learn you have to play with desire, fire the first half of the game - the way they did the last 14 minutes the ladies can win all their remaining games. You cannot wait to come alive. Peyton Little, I'm talking to you.

It is foolish to foul down by 5 with 4 seconds left. You are just giving the opponent a bigger final spread.

Like Sherri said after TCU "That offense is coming along and when it does, watch out" ..... Gioya and Maddie w a combined 9 pts. Thats not a winning formula for us. We need there dynamics. Once they get it going, we'll be competeting for the top spot in this conference. As I've said many teams, it might not be this season- but I think its inevitable.

Great Defense today, Great battling. Their 5 stars were no better athletes than we have- so we can kill that recruiting talk.
 
Proud that we fought back the second half and had a chance to win. If we could have knocked down a couple of shots we could have tripped up the horns.
 
OHardy I've wondered the same about Little for the minutes she gets the impact isn't equal. She did a good job of recognizing her shot is not falling and got to basket. Cold day for OU but the post play was excellent
 
Im betting Karen Aston left that game saying, we put all that effort into getting Kelsey Lang who played 10 minutes- And there Was Pierre Louise who nobody was after and she looked like one of the best up and coming post players in the country. She dominated.
 
I tried to watch the both the men's game and the women's game so I didn't see all of either game. Judging from the box score, we need to borrow a few percentage points in shooting 3's from the men. Pretty good game, otherwise.

Great game by ViVi. Boyette should foul out in Norman. If she doesn't someone isn't doing their job.
 
If we haven't realized that we have one of the best young posts in the country, it is time to do so.

We couldn't hit outside of about five feet. The fact that we got to within three with our shooting being as off as it was is stunning. We were one three away from this being an OT type game once again. If we shoot 25% from three, we win at Austin.

We played Texas dead even (almost) in Austin.

Yes, Boyette was getting a lot of body on those blocks. She usually does. But, once you get the reputation as a shot blocker, you can get away with it. We need to start the Heisman-type campaign for Nancy and Vivi as shot blockers now.

It hurt that the only free throws that Vivi missed were at the end of the game.

How bad is Maddie hurt?
