Texas Tech won by 30 in Ames... and OU is playing in OKC

I picked us to beat Tech in the prediction thread but I'm not hopeful. I think we'd have a better chance if it was in Norman.
Texas is the only game left I'd say with confidence that we'll win.

I predicted a win against Baylor, and a win against OSU. At this point, I don't feel great about any of the remaining games.

As dire as we can play at times our next game performance could easily be a complete 180 from the recent OSU debacle.

I just wish someone in the athletic department didn't voluntarily give away home court advantage. Absolutely no value in it.

If they win, it will slide. If they lose, you open yourself up to some serious criticism for giving away home court advantage in a critical game with season outcomes on the line.

It can't be worse than what transpired this weekend.

Can it?

I think falling shots and energy displayed are more vital than seats filled.

100% agree. That was silly.

It's not about seats filled... It's about familiarity with the surroundings and everything else that goes with playing in your home gym

Reaves/Bieniemy/Doolittle were ofer from 3 against Miss St. at the Peake. And Manek was 2-7.

Then replace seats filled with surroundings, and the like, and my point still stands.

Tech wins fairly easily.....please someone try and talk me out of this.:eddie187_jpg_xs:

Tech lost to this same OSU team we lost to in Stillwater.

They are not invincible!

Lol, I think they are commenting on the weakness of our team and not the perceived strength of Texas Tech. Nobody thinks they are invincible.

I feel the same about this game as I did on Saturday: could go either way, but, gun to my head, I'd say OU loses.

Agreed. I thought having a couple of games there was a cool idea- like the MSU game, but a complete lack of understanding and foresight to have a conference game there with just two weeks left in the season.

We’ll see if OU has quit or if they still have some fight. If they fight like hell, they will win. If they pout and quit, they’ll get killed and the season will be over.

Really, true. Can/will they nut up? I don’t think so. If they did I’d be pretty impressed. They have a lot of suck to make up for though. Pretty sad that I’d be so impressed with a win over Tech at “home”.
