We are significantly better than a month ago & barring injuries no doubt will be better a month later.

When you look at the roster we are well rounded with no glaring weaknesses. The main weakness is experience at guard which can make handling full court pressure quite an adventure but this will cure itself over time. A lack of size is a weakness but in college there are few teams with legit tall talent to exploit it.

RPI is up to #13. Could be a little high but who knows, with the right draw this team could reach the sweet 16. Looking forward to seeing us vs Iowa St, Kansas St & Baylor!

You're right, this is a much better team than the one we saw not long ago. I watched a replay of our win against OSU this morning, and came away with an even greater appreciation for how well OU played on defense. Our win on Saturday was a total team effort, with important contributions coming from every player who logged minutes.

We're beginning to see why LK went with a ten man rotation early on, while continuing to be committed to forcing his freshmen to grow up in a hurry. It was painful to watch at times. But he definitely knew what he was doing. Depth is our greatest strength now.

BINGO! You're a really smart (old) guy, Ada. Of course, it takes one to know one. :ez-laugh:

We've all watched a lot of basketball Ada and the team playing basketball in the final 15 minutes at West Virgina was a very good basketball team. The pace was rapid, the ball movement was crisp, the rebounding was strong, the defense was aggressive & the shots were open & pure.

That 15 minutes was the best OU has looked in a long time and there was nothing flukey about it. They play 20-30 minutes like those & very few teams will beat them.

I feel a little embarrassed for ranting and raving about hating watching bad basketball on here a month ago. While I still hate sloppy basketball, it's obvious Coach Kruger knows what he is doing in playing the raw freshmen a lot early, and he is building a strong and deep basketball team. The guys are really beginning to play well together and are showing toughness and resiliency. Could not be happier about the direction of this team.

Also, Romero is a blessing to this team. His production, mindset, and leadership is laying a foundation for this team that will last long after he is gone.

:clap

Romero is the heart and soul of this team. His leadership has been key to the success we're having now. More importantly, he leads by example, as n one on the team plays harder. I don't even want to think about the time when he is no longer around.

Boca, the best part is that the 20-30 minutes you referenced did not end with the WVU game. Our kids used it as a spring board to get an important win against a very good OSU team. I'm sure we will continue to see an occasional lapse in concentration and intensity from time to time. But there is no doubt that this is not the same team we saw last week or last month. It's exciting to think that this team has barely scratched the surface in their quest to get better.
