I didn't realize they had three different broadcasts. I spent most of the 1st half on UK's teamcast channel before I realized what was going on. I was about to throw a rock through my tv screen it was getting so bad. lol

I'm glad you pointed that out. I thought they were all the same. Rex Chapman has to be the most annoying color man in NCAA tourney history. :facepalm

Ironic that it is Kentucky now playing against a team with 5 white players on the floor at one time. Throw back in reverse. Has a team that starts 5 freshman ever won the championship?

Charles Barkley was hilarious during halftime of the UK/Wisconsin game.

Listening to Rex Chapman is PAINFUL!!!! I can't stand it anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me too -- I had no idea till just now. I couldn't believe how UK-centric the broadcast was.

If you made it the entire game thinking that was the "normal" broadcast, you are much more tolerable than myself. I was seriously thinking about watching it muted after about 5-10 minutes of the game.

Well, there goes my last hope. I had Florida and Wisconsin in the finals.

Another season, another bracket blown to smithereens! :facepalm

Probably should have saved this post.

Looks like we'll have another SEC national champion

UConn looks like the best team from what I've seen.

Where the heck is North, Texas? Is it near West, Texas? Will someone please tell B. Gumble that he is in Arlington, TX. We locals are in an uproar over this stupid logo. Every logo in the past has had the CITY name on it, not the part of the state its in!! Why not DFW if they can't lower themselves to use Arlington, who comes up with this crap?? Someone from TBS/Atlanta? A city rivalry at play here? I smell a conspiracy!

heh. I didn't turn up the sound until late in the game. Pre-emptive muting.

I think Michigan's Fab 5 lost in the finals. I don't think it's happened.

I think UCONN is playing the best now, they know how to fight.... But I think it will depend on how it's called. I wish they would use NBA refs!! I don't even know what a foul is anymore. I know half the time it's not the obvious call !!!

Interesting matchup between UK and UCONN.

1. UK is playing their best basketball of the season, and have won all five of their games by single digits. Their last four games have been decided by 5 points or less. Their "breather" was in the tourney opener against KState, a 7 point win.
They (I hope, as an SEC hater) are due to lose.
2. UK was swept by two teams this year, Arkansas and Florida on home and away games. UCONN beat Florida twice this year. Edge: UCONN.
3. While UK probably will have an edge in rebounding and points in the paint, UCONN could very well get some of Kentucky's freshmen in foul trouble - - it all depends on how the game is called by the officials. A physical style of game will favor UK, I think.

I am calling for the Cinderella run to end for the Cats. UCONN by two ... just don't let that damn Aaron Harrison spot up inside of ten seconds in regulation!

About the announcers: I, unlike some others on this thread, tuned into the Wisconsin teamcast. Like you, I wasn't aware of the "team" aspect of the announcers, and, even though I was rooting for Wisky, was thinking to myself, "My God, can these announcers be any more BIASED???

Only later did I learn about the TEAMcast thing.

Personally, I don't like it. Announcers SHOULD be at least nominally impartial and unbiased, IMO.

Finally, regardless of who wins Monday night, it should be a dandy game. Both teams are extremely talented, but especially Kentucky.

If you watched on TBS you had Jim Nantz and his partner doing the unbiased commentary.
