I bring you good news on this Sunday morning.

After an interesting 10 years, I've decided to step away from the site. The good news is that BoulderSooner has stepped up and will foot the bill to keep this place going.

I'm not sure how much I will be around on the boards, but I will still be keeping up with things on Twitter at https://twitter.com/ouhoops.

Also, AdaSooner will also no longer be continuing on as moderator but I'm sure will continue to post. This is a great man and the reason this site stayed afloat for most of the past 10 years, especially the last 4-5, and I thank him for everything he has done when I've checked out many times.

That being said, give it up to BoulderSooner. Hopefully he will be able to devote the time and energy to make this place better than I did.

Thanks for the effort, money and time you put forth and now you can rest comfortably knowing what you started will continue in earnest and that you now have a burden removed from your shoulders, so you can focus on more important matters in your life (would the yard be one of them?).

OUHoops, thanks for all you did over the past 10 years by putting together THE place to go for OU hoops! I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. I also wanted to second your comments about AdaSooner. I got to know him from being a moderator on another OU board in the previous decade, plus talking with him on the phone on and off through the years. This board could not have become what it did without AdaSooner.

While Boulder has some big shoes to fill, he's always been such a stand-up poster that I'm sure he'll do a terrific job as well. The future of this board will be in great shape.
