I really hope he is as good as Austin Rivers.
One thing that worries me about this kid is his height. He may be a kid that has a major issue adjusting to D-1 size. Many of these shot he might not be able to get up against taller players. May have the same problem early in his career that Byron Eaton had. Sometimes when a guy can't get off the shots he did in HS it results in a bunch of turnovers.
He needs to work less on trying to get on AND1 and focus more on being a point guard (at least from this video). I'm also not enamored with his size. He's not going to get those showboat layups against 6'7-6'11 guys. He's okay but in no way a program changer (IMO).
but he is a solid piece. There are no program changers left. they all signed in the early period like most years

I think to some extent that has been a problem for Calvin Newell, only on a smaller scale than guys like Eaton since Eat-a-ton was a 5-star guy.
im impressed i think he will be really good.. better than TMG.. that being said i bet we finish 2nd on him..
Better than TMG as a player? I doubt that. He may be a better teammate, a better person and better for the program but I seriously doubt he will be better player than TMG. TMG was very good. He shot 40% from the field and 42% from 3 as a true freshman.
