the team deserves congratulations today. even with the pressure problems during the last 8+ minutes they were still MUCH more tough mentally. and it showed.

two good examples ... brady AND kuath on the floor fighting for loose balls. culver still beat us up inside but those guys hung in there and fought. that toughness kept OU in this game and made them eventually prevail!!

.500 is good ball in such a tough conference but they still have a chance to do even better. take down UT!!

Yup, they deserve a ton of credit for these last 2 games. I admit I wrote them off after bedlam.

The young guards came to play and Kur gave us some serious "amp" when he entered the game.

I will eat a bit of crow. They looked good this week, after the OSU debacle.

Need to win at least 1 of the next 2 to be securely in. Beating UT probably does it, though.

They had their moments of mental lapses against the press, but handled the last 8-10 minutes and the press MUCH better than the way they handled it in Norman, on the road. Great job.

Two wins this week away from the LNC. If we can finish out this week 2-0, we are really only the OSU game away from this season going as expected. If we had that game back I’m sure most folks would be content with this season. If we finish 20-11, and can get one in KC, that’s a successful season and gets us a possible 8 no worse than 9

Go look at the road records for teams for in conference games and overall. Only 2 of the 10 teams have winning records.

And I don’t care what WVa has done the last 3 weeks. We just got one.

If we go 20-11 and win a game in the tourney we could be a 5 or 6 seed pretty easily.

Few weeks back, I predicted WVU would destroy us twice. Somehow we pulled out 2 wins. These wins sure help with the head scratching losses we have had. It sure would be nice to have 1 or 2 of those back.

This team will go as far as Bieniemy and Harmon take them. When they are playing well like they did yesterday then we are tough to beat.

Great to see some improvement in February, finally... Now finish!

I said before the season this would probably happen. Last year was all upperclassmen so they sort of peaked midway. This year OU is more talented but had to replace 5/8 contributors with 4 of them never playing D1 basketball, other than Kur’s minimal minutes. I thought the group would consistently get better, which they have with some predictable bumps along the way. I just hope Williams figures it out bc he is really talented, thought he was doing that a few weeks ago.

One thing going on is that there is actually little separation between most teams in the conference and that is playing out as the season winds down and we find ourselves being able to compete with most of the teams except for KU.

Very underrated statement. We know pretty much what we are going to get from Manek, Doo and Reaves.....so if the support/glue guys can contribute like they did yesterday, we will be in good shape.
