i hope this isn't beating a dead horse, but wasn't there a buddy of his on this board? any insight on what he thinks of the new coaching staff?

Hopefully he is healthy, now. A concussion as severe as TJ's can be tough to come back from.

I hope he is doing well and am sorry that things did not go well for him. I hope he gets everything right in his head, personal, because I think he could be an awesome college player and maybe more...
I hope he comes back....

I wonder if the coaching staff is up to his standards now?

I think his problems had more to do with how he felt he was treated as an injured player. None of us know what really happened, so I'm not going to judge an 18 year old kid too harshly. Or Capel's staff, for that matter.

I was just being facetious. I prolly should've put the winky face. ;)

No hard feelings for TJ. It didn't work out for him here, and I hope he has a successful college basketball career.

T. J. would be a good get if he still has an interest in OU. Quoting from the brief NAS posted, he plans to play one season at Paris Juco and then transfer to a D-1 school, which means he would have three years of eligibility left. Maybe a year off and a season at the JUCO level will heal any physical or emotional difficulties that led to his departure and we'll get our chance to see him play.

Taylor, who will not be eligible to play until next season, left the University of Oklahoma on Dec. 15 after the freshman was in the middle of a redshirt year because of a preseason concussion. He said he plans on playing next season and then signing with a Division I program.
