A.) Tom Watson is from Kansas City, MO.

B.) Perhaps a common method, but not the method I was using.

I am going to play a round next weekend and not sucking while chipping will shave some strokes off my game, for sure!

Sometimes you just need someone to articulate it properly, and Tom was that guy for you. It's certainly not a criticism of him to say that someone else could have said the same thing. The fact is that Tom told you what you needed to hear and in the way you needed to hear it.
Either way, as a guy who isn't a huge golf fan, I enjoyed following the open this year. I wish Tom Watson won. Either way, the open was full of drama.
