I tried to tell anyone who would listen that this kid was good coming out of high school. OU definitely needs to get involved. Doesn’t have the scoring package of Moore, but will make up for it on the boards.

it's all about the $$ now.
if the coaches lose the bidding war because of less funds than the competition....who's failing?

I won't believe that till I see it in action. Words mean nothing for Moser and the men's program.

If they cannot find three quality players out of 1000 or more options, they’re failing. Period.

There’s room for some misses due to being outbid.

one would think so...

We made the tournament last season, we play in the SEC and have some $$$ to spend.

There’s no good excuse not to land some of our top targets, but I get your apprehension.

He looked very very raw in the 1 game i watched. Like more raw than freshman oweh. I don't think he's a guy for us unless he's a depth piece

Remember that he is literally from the summit league... that cannot be overstated. How many teams can you name off of the top of your head from the summit league? We are in the toughest of all leagues ever..

Sutton wanted an OU offer last year...it didn't come, so he stayed at Omaha. This year could be a little different, since there will be more players involved....but he wants to come back home.

Right.

I was told last year to keep an eye on him but...with Moore, it just wasn't likely/didn't surface.

With 6 spots (so far) to play with, and with Moore leaving, the odds go up that he becomes a target. Starting level at OU? I mean, it's close in my eyes. Worst case, 6th man type, and a leader in the locker room. He probably wants a starting role though...we'll see.

Hell, people wanted RJ Godfrey last year lol.....and that kid isn't good.
