I was told last year to keep an eye on him but...with Moore, it just wasn't likely/didn't surface.

With 6 spots (so far) to play with, and with Moore leaving, the odds go up that he becomes a target. Starting level at OU? I mean, it's close in my eyes. Worst case, 6th man type, and a leader in the locker room. He probably wants a starting role though...we'll see.

Hell, people wanted RJ Godfrey last year lol.....and that kid isn't good.

Adjusting for his KP rank, he is around the 55.3 mark for my score. Not bad, a good off the bench 4 for sure. (which we could have used a bit this year)

Sutton wanted an OU offer last year...it didn't come, so he stayed at Omaha. This year could be a little different, since there will be more players involved....but he wants to come back home.

I'd pump the breaks on the Godfrey hate until this summit league guy gets actual run in the sec.

I'm not disputing your opinion per se.

We think differently, a bit, which is okay. I think he'd be a valued add, potentially.

I'm not necessarily saying to add Sutton right now....I'm a lot more patient than that. He would be on my 4 spot big board though and I think he is going to be for OU as well.

This is a process I can get behind. If we need to play moneyball because we can't compete monetarily then PLAY MONEYBALL. Use the analytics. Find the diamonds in the rough. Don't hone in on Kobe Elvis as your portal savior right off the bat

Honestly sophomores going into JR year might be better than JRs going into SR year.

Bc JRs going until SRs are looking to simply cash that LAST check (maybe they could improve their euro league or randomly go off and punch a nba ticket). Sophomores going until JR year, are looking to boost their values to cash yet another check in their last year

I wouldn't compare him to Godwin. I think this guy would be a Luke replacement. Can play small ball 5, but he also looks to be a more fluid athlete than Godwin or Luke. I could see him playing at the 4 some too.
