Transfers Possible

Whoever wants to be a Sooner! Doubt we get either one tbh.

Count me in for Okoro, though I'd like to see some college film for him. Williams looks like he benefited handsomely from his level of competition, and his release is slow and ugly.

In Europe, maybe.

He’s not going to the NBA, but he can definitely play in Europe. There are so many leagues. I played with 2 guys who played 5+ years in Europe and I played at a non scholarship school. He’s a ton better than those guys.

Another 5 star decommits to join G league. Could this be a trend? A sign of the future? Idk. I think it could lead to many elite players choosing to get paid and develop in a pro league instead of playing in college. Still too early to say but it’s interesting.

Makes a lot of sense, but it will definitely have a negative impact on college basketball, so I'm not thrilled about it.

I don't know that it's bad for college basketball.... College is amateur ball, not professional basketball. You have all these Duke's, Kentucky's, etc that get these pro players on 1 year rentals, at the expense of everyone else...

Having an avenue for professional players to develop instead of playing with amateurs is a good thing for the player and the game. I think it adds more parity in college basketball as well and makes a clear distinction between student-athletes and professional players.

there have always been a few lately to head overseas or train alone etc... I think a few a year but one and done will be be in a couple years.

Wont see much difference is my guess.

honestly, if my kid was considered a top draft pick...heck even top 15...I'd say either just train for a yr or head G league...even then though ya get a chance of injury.

It's stupid that a kid who is 18 can't just go to the pros. Baseball, golf, tennis can...I can sort of understand football because of size and strength...but even then if an 18 yr old can go to war...
