Tulsa might be really good.

LOL. Yep, you were wrong then and you're still wrong.

You do realize the absurdity of criticizing TU for losing to UConn when OU lost to ISU and KSU, right? Almost as absurd as the fact that you didn't stop using "LOL" 10+ years ago.

Road losses and home losses are two very different things in the eyes of the committee; Tulsa's loss was at home. Also, Tulsa was favored in their game; OU was an underdog in both of those losses.

The fact that we were expected to lose to a team that lost to Florida A&M does not actually support your argument.

Isu and KSU have better net rankings than UConn and they were on the road.

Facts don’t matter to him

I'm not sure you know what a "fact" is. I can't find a single ranking system that rates both ISU and KSU above UConn -- in fact, I can only find one that ranks either above UConn.

KenPom? RPI? BPI? NET?

Not a single one.

Tulsa had a nice streak going and they stubbed their toe. It happens. It was stated in a previous post that the 2nd best player for Tulsa was pulled from the game due to injury when the outcome of the game was still in limbo. If the same thing happened to Doolittle/Manek would some of you conveniently sweep it under the rug? Hell no! If some of you want to be taken seriously, then so be it, but if you insist on standing behind your statements could you see to it that they are not replete with convenience. Convenience detracts from the good that can be accomplished in our lives , it does not bolster it.

Honestly, I can't root too hard for TU, unless it's against OSU or someone else that I don't like. I still remember my brother's story in '85 about how Tulsa fans showed up at ORU's Mabee Center to root against OU in the NCAA first-round games. He went to the game and said some kid walked around by the OU section with a sign that said, "Hey Sooners, Remember January 9?" (the day we lost to them up there by 15). OU won and advanced to a Saturday game with Illinois State.

The next day, Tulsa lost to UTEP in Albuquerque in the first round. TU fans still showed up on Saturday to root against OU, but someone from the OU fan base came up with a sign, "Hey Tulsa, Remember Yesterday?" (in reference to their loss as a favorite against the Miners). I thought that was funny.

And UCONN just got hot too on top of TU losing leading scorer...

And I really don't know how UCONN has that record.

Their point guard was a McDonald's All American... Their power forward was a top 30 player... They have several other guards who were top 100 players. And I think they have an excellent coach in Dan Hurley who we all know from Rhode Island.

UCONN has one absolute head-scratching loss to St. Joe's (Kenpom #265) at home and another somewhat bad loss at USF, but other than those two setbacks, every loss they have is to a tournament or bubble-type team. They also beat Florida. A good comparable team to them is Iowa State and the various rankings seem to reflect that.

Tulsa is without their best player getting drilled by a bad UCF team.

They are done.

Wichita State is getting absolutely drilled by UH. UH currently has more than double their points, at 71-34.

In a shock to no one, Marshall didn’t hesitate to blame his players in his postgame radio interview. Classy guy lol.

Careful with those "lol's," WS. Someone will remind you that that acronym lost favor 10 years ago. Worse yet, you may also get called a Boomer.

LOL!!!!
