It's not easy to find a positive in a 31 point loss, but there were definitely two who are worthy of special mention: Tiny Gallon and Tony Crocker. Both played their hearts out!
Tiny finished the game with 17 points and 5 rebounds. He was the catalyst in OU's run to begin the first half, and the only answer we had in containing Baylor's bigs. Baylor's huge run didn't start until Tiny had to sit after picking up his second foul. When he returned, the damage had already been done.
Tony was the only other bright spot. He scored 16 points on 6 of 11 shooting (3-6 from three) and finished with 2 rebounds and 5 assists, while doing his best to defend two unusually long and athletic 6' 10" players in Udoh and Jones.
No matter what you think of OU's performance in yesterday's game, Tiny and Tony deserve our utmost respect and gratitude! :clap
