First off, I think Tyler Neal seems like a hard working student athlete. He also, based solely off of his tweets and demeanor on the court, seems like a great young man. And IMO he is a very good D1 Student Athlete.
However, he is not a D1 Player who should be receiving minutes in a game like tonight. Those 4 minutes could have been and probably should have been given to Fitz or even Pledger. That is my one gripe against LK... Tyler gets too much playing time... As sad as that sounds, he only averages like 5 minutes per game, but I am just not sure it brings much to the table at this point.
I read on the Game Thread where someone said that he "looks like a fish out of water" and I agree with that assessment. He works hard and hustles, and I am sure has earned (during practice) the playing time that he is given... But on the court he isn't showing up. Love the dude, and think he will do great things with his life... I even think he really helps this team, but I don't think it will be on gameday.
