I think this was the kind of game the Sooners needed right now. They needed to not worry about the outcome, just play hard, play smart, and run the offense and defense the way Sherri has drawn them up. Obviously, Sherri has a lot of coaching to do but this should give the team a dose of needed confidence and a reason to be optimistic knowing good things can happen if they work hard and improve a little every day.

I hope the next game is very similar.

Agree, horrible first half, but liked that they played a lot better in the second half. Portia really needs to step it up, Jasmine needs to take better care of the ball, got her pocket picked at least five times tonight. This game should give them some confidence. Looking forward to seeing them after the break.

Does OU only have 8 players suited up for the games? Should they not get a couple walk-ons to play the last minute or so in an easy game so no starter gets nicked up in the closing minutes.

Next game is Cal State Northridge, who upset #12 UCLA tonight 77-72.
I think the Sooners will win. UCLA was asleep tonight and turned the ball over 23 times. CSN is not a physical team.
