ANybody heard anything about the scrimmage?

Per Jon Rothstein twitter: Oregon won its team scrimmage against Oklahoma by a close margin, per a source. Two teams that should be in NCAA Tournament mix in 2018.

I hope to have some info tomorrow night. If I do I'll post it.

I wonder if the halftime score was as high as the football game?

We lost by a bucket or two. It was very competitive game. Missed a couple of threes late that could have given us the game.

Trae led us in scoring with around 20. He had 9 turnovers so that has to improve.

James had 17 and played well. He started ahead of McGusty.

Lattin was decent. McNeace was active and did a few good things. Odomes wasn't very productive. Polla had decent minutes.

Jordan Shepard needs to play better.

Oregon only has Pritchard back but has some grad transfers and a big time freshman class.

Thanks for the update, guys!

I think we all knew, or should have known, this team would experience some growing pains with a new floor general and several new faces who would likely get quality minutes early on, even if their performance didn’t match their time on the floor. LK is known to play every eligible, able body on our roster during the non-con portion of the season. He’s definitely not worried about losing a scrimmage to a good team like the Ducks.

The biggest surprise for me is that Trae had another game with a lot higher turnovers than I thought we’d see. I didn’t expect him to struggle that much with adjusting to the college game. I still don’t see it as a major concern, because I know he’ll work hard to correct the problem.

One of the transfers that Oregon picked up was MiKyle McIntosh who picked them over the Sooners.
