The media people are a bunch of idiots. I see nothing wrong with it. Boeheim didn't go off on him. He simply told him he was an idiot and disloyal person. If you cross someone you should expect consequences. I think Boeheim handle it fine.

It's not a journalist's job "not to cross" a coach. What do you think Katz has written or reported that was unfair or inaccurate?
A coach using the word "disloyal" to refer to a journalist doesn't even compute. Katz was right -- he doesn't work for Syracuse or Boeheim.

Jim Boeheim should know by now, there is no such thing as "off the record" when talking to a member of the media.
He's up there with Rick Barnes in the worst coaches with a good reputation bracket.
Except not even close, because Boeheim is a very, very good coach.
