Not as close as the score. After the first timeout, we pushed the lead to 10, and they never got inside 5 points the rest of the night. Forte's ridiculous threes are the only thing that kept it from becoming embarrassing.

You're right. He had the shooting night of his life last night.

Forte shoots his average and we don't make 1/3 of the careless plays and we beat them by 25...

I agree w/what all three of you have said. Forte kept that game from being 25 pts. We really did dominate that game except for forte keeping it "close." Plus, there was at least one horrible call, the charge against Cam that they called on Cam. They got a 2, then the plus one--3 pts, that shouldn't ahve been on the boards. I think it would have made Forte and Smart take more desperate shots and moved the score even more in our direction. yes, it was a dominate game by OU. Everybody played well, including some that need special recognition--Bennett and Neal.

Good observation. See, we don't disagree on everything.

I know they talk about the loss of Cobbins and I am sure that is a key loss for them but the most surprising part of the game to me was their defense, or lack thereof.

I think in final assessment we agree on most everything. It's the method for arriving at those conclusions we disagree on. :)

Just imagine what the score would have been if Buddy and Cam had hit their average. Buddy was horrible from 3 point range, but he sure has great moves to the basket.

Or missing all the free throws! We didn't play a perfect game by a long shot. But I'll take it every night!

Smart and Nash didn't have great games but neither did Buddy and Cam. Ou's role players outplayed OSU's by a long shot.

This team is so much better than I thought they were.

What's encouraging is they are so young and improving before our eyes.

Well, according to Fran and Marshburger, the Aggies would have kicked our butts if Smart and Nash hadn't spent so much time on the bench in foul trouble. I LOL'ed at that assessment.

Forte didn't just shoot well. He shot well from 23 feet and beyond. He hit two or three really long shots and others were he was a foot or two beyond the 3 point line.
