Cade Davis has become a total liability on the offensive end since the Tech game.
It's very frustrating.
Go read the stats from the OSU game. And, as been said many times, Cade Davis' value to this team is much more than what you see in the stat sheet.
6-15 and 2-7 from 3. Not that good.
Last four and half games... 6-26 from 3 and 18-50 overall.
You are reading stats. He had to play all 5 positions on the court at one time or another. He's been our most consistent defensive player and he's a big reason this team doesn't quit. Regardless of what the stats say, this team is better with him on the court. He doesn't deserve the garbage the people on this board dump on him.
Cade has struggled shooting the basketball. That is a stone cold fact. Yes he brings many great qualities to the floor. But there's no ban on criticism here.
Why is everybody bringing up his defense when I specifically mentioned offense only in both the title and post?
I know he brings defense and intangibles. I'm not saying I don't like him. Far from it.
why do you bring up Cade and ignore Carl Blair's 0 assists to 6 turnovers against osu, and Cam Clark doing absolutely nothing so far in this game and against osu? We have a lot of problems on offense, and like it or not they are not all on cade.
I don't think their is a player on our team that works harder on both sides of the court than Davis. A liability??? Maybe he is just exhausted from having to put this team on his back.

I'm not saying all are problems are on Cade. Or even most.
I think you are confusing someone being in a "slump", and someone being "a liability".
Cade is in a slump. That doesn't make him a liability though. Big difference.
Exactly. If Cade was a liability, then you would see teams not guarding him on the offensive end, inviting him to shoot. If they do that, which they won't, Cade's slump would probably end quick because he would knock down open looks.
Most of the teams that we play have a simple scheme: Push Fitz off the block, make it hard for our guards to feed him, and know where Cade and Pledger are on the perimeter. No one who is a liability gets put into any defensive game plans..... He is a constant threat to score.
