We may have another commitment on the way

Just to add I've heard the same thing Norm has and don't think he nor the post should be ridicouled for bringing info to the board. The more this happens the less posters want to bring good info to the board.

Looks like there are numerous kids that come from Somalia via a Canadian pipeline. I'm not sure if that is where this kid is coming from, could be England and likely Spain.
I heard Spain as well.

Who's ridiculing Norm?

Some of the posts could be considered as not taking the post serious. I know Norm and know he wouldn't post something he didn't have good info on. The intention might not have been to ridicule but it certainly looks that way.

I've heard the same thing from many people. No name yet though.

No one is making fun of Norm for posting the information. LOL.

I understand the kid has signed and the paperwork is in the hands of the coaches. I just don't know his name.

If so, there sould be a SoonerSports press release I would think.

They just got the paperwork, so I would expect something from SoonerSports in a day or two.

After the last month or two, we deserve a kid that is the next coming of The Dream.

Do you know if they are going to annouce 1 or 2 players in the annoucement from OU?

I wasn't trying to ruin your joke, but, if I did, that is fine with me. It was based on a stereotype of Africa a region that most people in America know very little about. I think those stereotypes have led to a lot of misunderstandings about the region that either lead to most people neglecting the region or caring, but not having any idea what is happening. To me that joke is the equivalent of saying all Native Americans lived in teepees or all Americans ignorant and loud (a common European stereotype about the U.S.). So sorry if you think it was funny, but to me it was pretty close to a racist joke. Rather than calling you out on that I decided to use it as an opportunity to teach people something about the continent, but since you insist I think that joke is isn't funny and the humor comes purely from people's ignorance.

:clap:clap:clap

Any updates on this new guy? Or are we just waiting for the AD to issue a release this week?
