ND getting a taste of what it's like to play in the Big 12 against WVU's press.

ND weathered the storm but a bit slipping away again now. down 12 with 9 and change left. not a huge fan of Huggy per se but when his guys buy in they are good to watch. ND just put WVU in the bonus so there's at least 2 trips ND will have to give away to get in the bonus themselves. WVU with 4 fouls.

Every time ND pulls within striking distance, WVU opens it up again to 9-12 point lead. The Mountaineers have consistently come up with the shots they've needed to the Irish at bay.

West Virginia's problem is that inevitably they will play a game where the officials call ticky-tack fouls and then they have no chance.

Also, I feel like Dante Buford could be a Bonzi Colson type if he would set his mind to it.

that's kind of an "x" factor in the tournament...with the officiating crews.....are they going to call hand checks 30 feet from the basket? some of Kelvin's teams had some bad luck with that.....imo.

Watching WV/ND as well as Villanova/Wisconsin makes it really obvious that OU wasn't far off this season.

Nova has felt like a pretender all season. Every time I have watched them they look very vulnerable. I was happy to see the Badgers win. I think they are the better team.

Every year when I start picking my bracket, I say I'm going to take them out early. And most years, after looking at the bracket, I still pencil them into an Elite 8, including this year. Sticking to my guns next year.

I'm with you. I do the same thing.....I tell myself there is no way that Nova will spit the bit early again. And thus I go ahead and advance them deep anyway. We should have learned our lesson by now.

I had been good about correctly bouncing Nova early year, but just wasn't high on Wiscy so I went with Nova. Should have stuck to my guns.

Same with me.. I told a buddy that Wiscy was a tough out as an 8, but when I saw versus Nova, I just couldn't pick against em.... shoulda went with my guy. Dang!
