Yep....I think we are somewhere around 20 or so from my eye test. Need to do what we can to shore up (to any degree) our deficiencies on defense, perimeter shooting on the road, and closing out games. If we do that, we can easily be top 15 again by seasons end....but it is a "big ask".

I think the polls (which aren't important in and of themselves) and yesterday's seedings are a good reminder that for as poorly as the team has played over the last month, the overall resume still has plenty of strong points. Also, in order for OU to drop significantly, other teams have to do enough to move up, and there just aren't many teams doing that.

Every fan base tends to focus so much on the negatives that it is hard to remember the good stuff. Heck, if you listened to all the KU fans, you'd think they are the worst team in the world. Yet in the committee's eyes, they have the sixth best resume in the country, even after losing two of their last three to teams near the bottom of the league. OU obviously needs to start playing much better or they won't stick around long in the tourney, but there are a lot of teams in the same boat right now.

Would not surprise me at all if we came out of Lubbock (a very good thing to do) with a victory.
