Maybe the worst match-up in the conference for us. I hope our guys remember the butt-kicking in Morgantown and come out fired up. We HAVE to win this game ... can't lose two conference games at home BEFORE ISU and KU come to town. Not a recipe for improving your seed.

I hope all we do is play offense against full court pressure the next three days.

We just need to play our game against them. Last time we got into their game. Can't let that happen again. If we play our game, we are the better team.

It's gonna be hard for Woodard to get it across the timeline against that press...barely makes it across with no defenders...haha jk but really that press is something we need to be working on allllll day Sunday and Monday. We break that effectively and we are golden. Thomas needs to be dominate.

One thing I was excited to see was that we FINALLY won a close game. We have been losing way too many of those lately. Hopefully, we can take that momentum and keep it going against WVU. We need to limit their second chance points and not have 30 turnovers this time around.

You're right....it is their strength (pressure defense) against our weakness (ball-handling). But I'm hanging on to the fact that this game is in Norman. I don't think WV plays as well away from Morgantown. They did win @K-State (K-State had a horrible shooting night), but they got drilled at Texas (who is fading). I also look at WV's shooting %.....it is bad, but they get so many offensive rebounds to keep possessions alive. Thus limiting them on the boards would be right behind limiting turnovers in terms of our keys to winning.

WVU is tough. Devin Williams & Juwan Staten are studs. They lead the league in steals by 3.6/game and their turnover margin is an astounding +8.38.

It will take our A+ game to beat these guys. At this point we're not the better team. Hopefully the home court advantage pays off.
