43-31 OU with under 3 minutes in first half. OU played inspired for about 5 minutes the rest has been kind of bland. Very few fouls called so far....

Western Illinois has a girl that is wider than she is tall.

51-34 half. Vegas 5-10 from 3.

Kornet playing great so far. 5 rebounds 6 points.

*correction Vegas is 4-8 from 3; 5 -10 overall

At least, Soonersports.com/tv has this on radio.

As Brokeback said, very few fouls. WI has five, OU three. 51-34 at the half.

We had the three K's in the game for a while, and it seemed to work. Kay Kay, Kellogg, and Kornet seemed to do well on the boards, and Kellogg and Kornet were active. Colton Coale was excited about a couple of Kornet's plays.

Vegas was 4 of 8 from three, I think. We shot 58.8%, but WI shot 48.3%.

It seemed that Kay Kay, Kellogg, Kornet, and Edwards got more time than usual.

None of OU's rebounders have any fouls. The three fouls were on Hook, Carter, and Vegas.

Penn State, #10, is getting killed by ND, #4. 42-28

15:56 OU has five fouls in the second half already: two each on Hook and Sharane, one on Griffin. OU has gone cold after getting a 21 point lead. WI is hot. 57-45.

Well the fouls are mounting now. Western Illinois is pushing it inside a lot more to start the half. They have cut the lead to 12

Carter started out really hot this half. OU is taking bad shots; one and done.

65-51. Vegas hits her fifth.
67 54 They are 8 of 16 from three.
12:21

Griffin fouls, her second. time out.

Griffin with an old-fashioned three. They are shooting 53%.

Vegas with her sixth three. 22 pts.

73-55 Griffin steal
Kornet with a five-footer, has 8. 75-55

Really nice to see Kornet playing well tonight ... Very active and making an impact.

They hit another three.
Griffin for two
Sharane steals, Kornet scores. Has ten.
They hit another three.
If you look at the season stats, WI is simply not this good of a shooting team. They are hitting lights out tonight. But, they are probably only about thirty percent as a rule, if that much.
They get a layup and a foul.
Griffin fouled by Luke who is their leading scorer, her fourth. Griffin hits both.
Vegas hits her seventh three.
84-64 8:02
They MISS a three.
They foul, negating another Vegas three.

agree - her best game in awhile. Really active on defense and on offense without the ball.

WIU is shooting over 50% behind the 3 (and jacking them up)and OU is up by 20.

Yeah, Coach Tubbs is probably loving all those 3-balls flying.:D

Time runs out. WI seemed better than 4-4. Coale thought they were better than Creighton, and WI is picked sixth in the Summit. Creighton is picked second.

Totally agree Sybarite. I'd like to see a WI/Creighton matchup. And I really like their player Luke.

Let me clarify that it was Colton Coale who thought that they were better than Creighton. Sherri just said they were good.

Only one player (Morgan) with more than 2 fouls and she had 3. Certainly different than the past few games. Leathernecks attempted one more foul shot than we did so not sure if officials were more lenient or we were more reserved in our defending. I would guess officials weren't calling as tight since WIU had the same total number of team fouls (15) as we did.

The most interesting thing about that game was the fact Kaylon did not get called for any fouls. Hallelujah!
