true. houston, jeffries, williams and dumas all spent time in the league. he had talent. Ive always been impressed that he's stayed at FSU so long. I guess he runs a good program. If he's graduating kids and the fans/school are all happy then c'est la vie.

Leonard Hamilton 1980s = Scott Drew 2000s. Both guys simply learned on the job how to coach while elevating the recruiting at their respective schools. We used to make fun of Drew all the time as a bench coach...but not so much the past decade.

I think Drew turned the corner when he put them in that zone defense before the conference tournament. Thats when things started going well for his groups.

Leonard hamilton still isn't a Rollie Massimino or anything - but he's a much better coach now than he was in stillwater. But it doesn't look like he's aged a year since he left. In fact, he looks better now than he did then.

OU is not even close to Arizona's level when it comes to recruiting. Not really on Oregon or USC's, either. FSU has been recruiting really well these past few years as well. Depaul is the only school I'd really consider chumps on that list. Would have considered TCU chumps as well pre-Dixon.

We aren't on USC level? Really I guess I missed their NCAA Tournament run and wins. 3 Tournament wins since 08 man they are tearing it up.
