What's the Basketball Term for Stage Mom?

Good grief! Another dad who thinks it's all about him. :facepalm

Nothing wrong with believing in your sons and encouraging them to excel. That's what fathers should do. But when an obsession with the spotlight has the potential to be a distraction and a source of embarrassment for your sons, it's time to fade into the background and let them have their day.

that is some funny chit right there.....and sad.:woot

LawnMower parenting... Paving the way for thier kids, no longer helicopter!

Just seems like an idiot to me. I think Ada's right -- that it's the dad who really wants the spotlight -- or else why would he trash Lonzo's UCLA teammates like that. There's just no reason for it and nothing good can come from it. And the idea that the NBA will be easier for Lonzo because he's better when the game is faster is positively ridiculous. It's such a profoundly stupid comment I shouldn't have even wasted energy typing how stupid it is.

Maybe he will turn out better than Jordan. He's outstanding and as he gets older and more mature physically and understands the game better, he'll undoubtedly get better. But the NBA won't be easier for him than it is now. Moronic!

Is he still married? I bet his wife loved his comment about her.
