Who is the most under-rated player in the big 12?

I think Travis Ford is just as good of a coach as Kruger. But Ford is a much better recruiter. That will pay dividends in the long run. Kruger will not be with OU in 5 years.

I didn't say OU would be terrible next year - just that they will miss the tourny. Who is going to score next year? Osby and Pledger are gone. Grooms won't be able to come in and settle the frosh guards down from turning it over or making dumb plays.

Mbaye is a headcase waiting to happen...without Osby there he will not perform with confidence or be able to play off of Osby like he has. The best post defenders will now guard Mbaye.

NIT team next year for OU. I never underestimated OU this year - I pegged them as a 9 seed from the get go. the ORU, UTA, and SFA games scared me...but their seniors have been the difference. Most notably Osby. Steady eddy wins the race - unfortunately...they don't have the talent to win much more than 1 game in the NCAA tourny.

:facepalm They don't let you med students dip into the percocet do they?

The guy lost any and all credibility when he put Napoleon and CLK on the same level. Good luck getting ANYBODY outside of Boone's Barnyard to agree with that statement.

Clown post.

Actually, he put the Little General ABOVE CLK. The list of delusional OSU fans continues to grow.

So who makes it farther in the tournament this year?

Who is the better team next year?

This year will be the peak of OU basketball for atleast the next 3 years.
I'm sorry but Osby will be gone, Pledgers gone, Grooms & Fitzgerald.

Who's going to score consistently, lead, and make this team any better or for that matter...keep them where they are at?

Hornbeak and Cousins are wild and not great shooters.

Hield is the only hopefuly one but he can't do what Pledger does.

But it's OK, you can always hold onto the myth that Lon Kruger is an all-time great coach.

Does it bother you that I make more than you simply because my Degree says The University of Oklahoma on it?

Did you seriously just breakout the "I make more than you" argument? :ez-roll::ez-roll:

Do you aggies seriously have to come to an OU board to validate your self worth? Did your mommy and daddy not hug you enough?

Marcus smart will be gone. Possibly Nash and brown as well... lose 2 of the three and I think we finish ahead of the cowboys next season. Lose all three and you may be NIT bound or worse. IMO

I think if 2 of the 3 stay, both teams will be fairly even. (Top 25)
If 2 leave, OSU will struggle to make the NCAA tournament.
If all leave, OSU will struggle to make the NIT.
If all 3 stay they are a top 5 team.

I really don't see Nash or Brown leaving.

Marcus Smart would definitely not be living up to his name if he didn't enter this extremely weak draft class.

I'm not expecting him to stay, but I do think there is about a 10% chance. I think it would be a worse decision for Nash or Brown to leave.

Brown is likely staying... I'm not as convinced on Nash I think it's 50/50
Regardless I think both teams will be very competitive again next season.

OU should be a better overall team next season. Better defensively and a better rebounding team. Offense may take some time to come around but should have good balance.

Without Smart, OState will take a step back. Should still make the tourney but, without Smarts leadership, hustle, and defense on the perimeter, we will all be reminded of the caliber of coach they really have.

As an OU fan I must say that I love watching OSU fans extend the Travis Ford leash. Very comparable to the fools gold we experienced with Capel and Blake Griffin. Smart leaves and it is very likely that the Ford led Cowboys continue to struggle.

I agree. They should be number 1 in this conference with the talent they have and there between 3 and 4. And Ford is starting to slip back to his 4 guard lineups.

Its going to be interesting to see how well they perform in the tournament. They have a potential final 4 team.

OSU?

No way. They are struggling to hold onto third place in one of the worst Big 12 conferences in years. They have no inside game. Their shooting is streaky. They play a lot of young guys.

I'd like to see their draw first, but I'd be shocked if they made it past the Sweet 16.
