Now that they have lost Olukemi, they will much worse and probably win about 3 games in the Big 12. No coach can survive that kind of season in major college basketball, especially not after they have been there a few years.

Who will be the next coach?

Ford isn't going anywhere for at least a year and probably longer. They really can't afford after giving him an outrageous contract and I don't really think they care about basketball as much as they did 10 years ago.

Same situation is going to happen with Gundy...

James dickey is best candidate. Good coach And recruiter. Bet phil forte get asst. Interview.

isn't there really just one person that has to care? and if he cares, he can certainly afford it.

Ford will still be there next year. Holder is not going to cut him loose after one bad season and take the chance that Smart will ask out of his LOI. He will want to see what Travis can do with Nash and Smart on the same team.

Who cares. Let's wait till he's actually fired (not a certainty) before speculation starts. What an aggy-like thread.

I think this one person cares only about what goes on inside his namesake now! Anyone that would give Alfalfa a 10 year/$2M contract on his history in stoolwater doesn't care much IMO!

I still think he get one year to make sure Marcus Smart doesn't back out of his LOI before next season starts. After that, he'd better get it in gear quickly.

I don't think the buyout is as much an issue as people make it out to be. Having a horridly pitiful team costs alot of money too. If you don't think he can turn it around, it's always better to nip it, ASAP.

Regardless of what happens this season, Ford will be back. In fact, I would say the Olukemi injury pretty much guarantees he is back because now he has an excuse for a poor season.

However, when Ford is no longer in Stillwater, I think Brooks Thompson will be the next HC at OSU.

brooks thompson will be the next poke coach... i dont know when... but when ford does leave, brooks is next...

What if he is caught murdering someone?

Then he will coach until the case is disposed of in court, evidence be damned!!!!!:dance005::dance005:
