6'7" and 200 lbs-will be a Senior in elgibility next year, if he is allowed to play. He averaged 17.1 pts and 7.8 rbs last year, and shot 40% from three-point range. He is originally from Detroit, and wants to be closer to home, so I'm not sure if Norman qualifies.

You have people moving out of Detroit in droves. Who the hell wants to go back to there?

Some of you guys take posts so literally. When Will says he wants to be closer to home, maybe he means he wants out of Utah, and back to a city in the Midwest United States, not necessarily Detroit, but close to Detroit. I believe that Iowa State was trying to recruit him before. Beautiful, downtown Ames. Hmmmm.....

So are you saying he is transferring here or just transferring from Utah and he is open for recruitment again?

ISU just released one of its committments. A 6'3'' guard out of Texas.

Are they making room for Clyburn?

Man, if they get this guy they will have an entire team of D1 transfers!

Korey Lucious- Michigan State
Chris Allen- Michigan State
Royce White- Minnesota
Chris Babb- Penn State
Anthony Booker- Southern Illinois

Looks kinda like UNLVs roster...except the transfered from Kentucky, Memphis, UCLA, Kansas........

This would be a great year to take a transfer.

I don't think we have to worry about Kruger and his staff not being aware of D1 transfers. Hopefully, he'll learn our roster quickly so he knows what holes to fill.

Special I am with you, when Blake was in charge of the Football team, i followed recruiting like an addict, since Bob took over not so much more of a casual thing, not that I feel we have a very good basketball coach, I will to follow as close knowing it is in good hands. That being said I will still be a casual follower and when I wake up at 3AM like i did this morning I may still post about transfers there is no telling what a man is to do at 3AM.

Funny that so many have complained about all the transfers Capel and Kelvin had leave OU, yet nearly every day there are new threads just on this board about kids transferring from other schools. Two of them today alone!

Except getting players is good, but losing players is bad. Am I missing something obvious here?

jim boylan seemed like a super-**** to me. i thought he got fired a year too late. anyway, not a lot to do with this t-fer and maybe underwhelming hire.....another Boylen era transfer to Colorado, Carlon Brown, double digit scorer becomes eligible next year. but, doesn't matter i s'pose since CU is all Pac and MIGHTY now (reporting live from Boulder, CO).

if we can make our own coaching transition without meaningful attrition it will be a testament to Lonnie. i am against running off players or pulling schollies. i know these things are on a year to year basis....but, to me, once the university makes a commitment to kids after they do to OU....if they are making grades and on path to graduate...you have to at least honor the academic part of that commitment.

Iowa State?

You have got to be kidding me. Guess he isn't that interested in winning.

Iowa State may end up being real good real soon with the transfers they are getting.

with all these transfers I agree..Iowa state is gonna be no joke next year...

Recruiting to a place like Ames is tough, getting these transfers is the best way to raise the talent level quickly. I still don't know how they have been able to land all of these guys, though...
